Police have investigated two motor vehicle accidents within and hour resulting in Careless driving charges being laid in both accidents.
On Monday August 23rd, 2004 at approximately 5:30 pm police investigated an accident at Main and Victoria Street resulting in minor injuries. At approximately 6:30 pm police were called to an accident on Owen Sound Street and Main Street East where a cyclist was struck. The cyclist was taken to Headwaters Health Care and released with minor injuries.

Between August 20th and August 21st, 2004 unknown person(s) broke two windows on the east side of the Legion building. A broken cement block was located near the building.

On August 22nd, 2004 sometime around 11:00 pm unknown person(s) broke into the vending machine at the car wash off Industrial Road. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
