Members of the Shelburne Police Service are asking for the public to assist in solving the following occurrence.

On October 3rd, 2003 the Shelburne Police Service attended the Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Office located at 109 Adeline Street to investigate a Break In that occurred between 5 pm October 2nd and 8 am October 3rd, 2003. The owner arrived at the location and discovered the front steel framed door ajar, the striker plate lying on the floor on the inside, and the dead bolt lock and handle mechanism in pieces and still in the door.

The owner conducted a complete inventory and reported that no documents or records were missing.
