July 7th, 2004 - July 14th,
2004
On July 8th, 2004 the Shelburne Police took a report of a
counterfeit $20.00 bill serial #EVV6659760.
Also on July 6th,
2004 a bicycle was stolen from a residence on Second Avenue. The
bike is described as a youth bike BMX Supercycle blue frame and red
handlebars.
On July 13th, 2004
a report was taken in which an unknown sender via the internet was
asking a person for his personal banking information. People should
be cautious and not give out this information to anyone either over
the internet or telephone.
On July 10th, 2004
a theft report was taken by the Shelburne Police where a party
attended Petro Canada and $88.00 worth of gas was pumped into a
vehicle. The party then left Petro Canada without paying for the
gas.
On July 12th, 2004
a report of two bicycles was taken. Both vehicles were taken from
the same residence on Main Street. The first bike is described as
male bike 18 speed CCM olive green in colour and the second bike is
a female 18 speed women's Supercycle white and black in colour.
Between July 12th
and July 13th, 2004 unknown parties attended a residence on
Owen Sound and broke a glass top patio table.
Over the past week
there have been six 911 misdialed calls. The public is asked to
please be careful when dialing the telephone as officers have to
attend all 911 calls for safety reasons.
