March 24th - April 14th, 2004

Police took a report in October 2003, regarding a forged signature on a cheque and the cashing of the cheque. Police have charged Warren Anthony Douglas 24 yeas of Shelburne with Fraud and Uttering Forged Document, and Brandi Rebecca Varley 24 years of Shelburne with Making a forged document, uttering a forged document and Fraud. Both parties were to appear in Ontario Court in Orangeville on April 13th, 2004.

On March 21st, 2004 police investigated an assault. Charged is Darryl Bruce Wright 19 years of Shelburne with Assault Cause Bodily Harm. Mr. Wright is to appear in Ontario Court on April 27th, 2004 in Ontario Court.

On March 30th, 2004 police charged Richard Shane MacPherson 43 years of Shelburne with Mischief after investigating a complaint of damage to a cable box. MacPherson is to appear April 27th, 2004 in Ontario Court.

On April 1st, 2004 at approximately 11:20 p.m. unknown person(s) broke 7 panels out of the phone booths at Owen Sound and Main Street. 2 males were seen leaving the area.
Description
Suspect #1: Male White 20 years 5'8" 160 lbs, short black hair wearing light coloured shirt or sweater and light pants.
Suspect #2: Male white 20-21 years 6'2" 180 lbs, short blond hair wearing light shirt and light pants stocky build.
It is believed the suspects may have just left a local bar.

Sometime between April 7th to April 13th, 2004 police investigated incidents of unknown person(s) spray painting the water tower, the skateboard park and a street sign. The suspects used a spray can containing light blue paint.

On April 9th, 2004 police charged an Oswald PAVAO 47 years of Toronto with Possession of a controlled Substance (marihuana) after a traffic stop. Mr. Pavao will appear in Ontario Court on May 3rd, 2004.

Between April 10th and April 11th, 2004 unknown person(s) damaged a car parked near Robert Street by kicking the drivers door causing a large dent.

Sometime between April 10th and 12th, 2004 unknown person(s) stole 30-40 wood decorations known as "LOOKOUTS" white in colour from the construction site of the public library.

Sometime between April 12th and April 13th, 2004 person(s) unknown damaged the Town Works shed at the Hyland Park by damaging the front door.

On April 11th, 2004 two males were seen stealing bags of top soil from the IGA store on First Avenue East Shelburne.
