May 25th - June 9th, 2004

The Shelburne Police Service has responded to over 15 false 911 calls in the last two weeks. Please be careful when dialing and of kids playing with the phone.

On June 2nd, 2004 police investigated a domestic dispute. Charged is Andrew Thomas SAINSBURY 21 years of Shelburne. Mr. Sainsbury was charged with 2 counts of Assault and 2 counts of Breach of Probation. Mr. Sainsbury was held for a bail hearing and later released.

On June 4th, 2004 at approximately 2 am Shelburne police while on patrol caught two youths stealing an All Terrain Vehicle. Two young offenders who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act have been charged with Theft and Possession of Stolen Property

On June 5th, 2004 during a traffic stop, police charged Jeffrey Michael COURNOYEA 21 years of Shelburne and Justin McLean SNELL 19 years of Shelburne with Possession of marihuana. Both parties are to appear in Orangeville court on July 6th, 2004.

On June 5th, 2004 during a street check police charged Richard John BEAULIEU 43 years of Shelburne with Possession of marihuana. Mr. Beaulieu is to appear in Orangeville Court on July 12th, 2004.

On June 7th, 2004 police charged Richard James BRUCK 31 years of Alliston with assault, also charged with Council to commit an assault is Cindy Ann PELL 29 years of Orangeville. Both parties are to appear in Orangeville Court on July 6th, 2004.

On June 7th, 2004 between 2 pm and 4:30 pm a residence on Second Avenue West was entered. Suspect(s) stole several Play Station 2 games and alcohol from the residence.
