...The difference between
"NO PARKING" and "NO STOPPING"
"NO PARKING" - You are
allowed in a Posted No Parking Zone to bring your vehicle to a
brief stop to allow the exit or picking up of passengers or
cargo.
"NO STOPPING" - You
are at no time to stop your vehicle in a posted No Stopping
Zone, unless directed by a police officer, or the flow of
traffic has stopped.
Police remind the public that
in front of the Centre Dufferin District High School, "NO
STOPPING" has been posted between the times of 7:00 A.M. and
9:00 A.M. & 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. This will be strictly
enforced to ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles.

are responsible for ensuring that their children under sixteen
years of age properly wear a bicycle helmet when they are
traveling on a highway/roadway.

a "slow moving vehicle" (generally speaking farm tractors and
equipment) you must display a "slow moving vehicle sign" in
accordance with the regulations, to the rear of the vehicle (if no
trailer is being towed) OR to the rear of the rearmost trailer, if
one or more trailers are being towed.

enough in colour to allow an unobstructed view of the interior, i.e.

red, and smoked acrylic licence plate covers that you can buy
locally, are illegal when mounted over your licence plate. The only
plate covers permitted are the clear ones, when not yellowed
