Two reports of jewellery lost within
the Town of Shelburne have been filed with the Shelburne Police. The
first report was taken on March 18th, 2005 where a gold
bracelet was lost somewhere on Main Street. The second report taken
was a lost gold bracelet possibly in the IGA area. Anyone finding
either of these bracelet's are asked to turn them in to the
Shelburne Police.
On March 17th, 2005
a window was discovered broken in a portable at Hyland Heights
School.
On March 17th, 2005
a report was taken from a resident on Second Avenue where a building
had been spray painted with black paint.
On March 18th, 2005
a report was taken where phone calls had been received at a
residence. Charged is Sean Paul MAXWELL 40 years from Brampton with
Harassing Phone calls and Breach of Recognizance. Mr. Maxwell is to
appear in Ontario Court in Orangeville on April 19th, 2005 to answer
to the charges.
On March 19th, 2005
police took a complaint in which a disturbing note had been left on
a persons door. Charged is Joshua James BROWNE 20 years of Shelburne
with Criminal Harassment. Mr. Browne is to appear in court 19 April
2005.
On March 20th, 2005
while working a paid duty at the Shelburne Arena, a police jacket
was stolen from the coat room. Charged is Ryan Matthew Galbraith 23
years of Shelburne with Theft Under $5000.00 and Possession of
stolen property.
On March 24th, 2005
Shelburne Police received reports from KTH where staff lockers had
been entered and property removed. Charged is Helder Michael
Rodrigues 18 years with 6 counts of Theft Under, Possession of
Stolen property and 3 counts of Fail to comply with probation order.
Mr. Rodrigues was held for a bail hearing.
On March 25th, 2005
police investigated a disturbance that happened at an address on
Main Street. Charged is Robert Glenn CLARKE 39 years of Shelburne
with Assault Level 1 (3 counts), Forcible Confinement, and 2 counts
of Uttering Threats. Mr. Clarke was arrested and held for a bail
hearing.
Sometime on March
26th, 2005 between the hours of 2 pm and 3 pm unknown person(s)
removed a quantity of DVD's, Play Station games and X Box games from
the Shelburne General Store. Anyone having any information on this
theft is asked to call police or crime stoppers.
On March 28th, 2005
unknown person(s) stole a fire extinguisher from the Shelburne
Public library.
On March 29th, 2005
unknown person(s) caused mischief to a wooden door by kicking it.
This door leads into Tumbleweeds Restaurant.
